Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and through the platinum sponsorship of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and their Sports Care Program, the inaugural ‘Arabian Sponsorship Forum’ was held on the 14th and 15th December, 2009 at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.

The Arabian Sponsorship Forum brought together specialists from the sports, entertainment and events industry in the Middle East including sponsors, rights holders and agencies to help increase the profile of sponsorship as a business tool and to educate Arabic companies on the real business returns that are attainable through sponsorship.

The 2009 programme consisted of seven key note speeches by leading global experts and discussion forums moderated by four-time Olympic Gold Medal winning and BBC presenter Sir Matthew Pinsent.
