Assessment Guidelines   Platinum

All entries will be assessed against the following criteria, according to a clear points-based system:

Sponsorship Planning (25%)

Demonstration of business need (5 points)
Clarity of rationale for selecting sponsorship (5 points)
SMART objectives* (15 points)


Sponsorship Execution (30%)

Relationship between rights holder and sponsor (including contractual benefits received) and the effectiveness of the partnership (10 points)
Exploitation activity (10 points)
Use of marketing communications to target audience (10 points)


Sponsorship Evaluation (25%)

Results delivered against SMART objectives (10 points)
Overall assessment of return on investment (10 points)
Long term benefits and development planning (5 points)


Category Suitability (10%)

Suitability of sponsorship to the category entered (10 points)


Overall assessment (10%) - not to be completed by applicants

10 points will be awarded for clarity of purpose, originality, innovation and benefit to both parties, based on the judges' overall impression.



* SMART objectives are: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time Specific.
