Professional Sports Group has confirmed 2010 FIFA World Cup Chief Executive Officer, Danny Jordaan, and SVP Global Sports Marketing, adidas, Jocelyn Robiot, as keynote speakers for the 2010 Arabian Sponsorship Forum, Abu Dhabi.The Arabian Sponsorship Forum 2010, which takes place this December 8th and 9th at The Yas Hotel, Abu Dhabi, has confirmed participation from one of the world’s leading sponsorship and sports marketing academics, Professor T.Bettina Cornwell, from the University of Oregon, USA.
Cornwell, Professor of Marketing from Lundquist College of Business, will host the ‘Introduction to Sponsorship’ workshop on December 8th, which aims to stimulate both Emirati and Expatriate undergraduate and graduate interest in the sponsorship industry.
The session will be supported by international experts from Europe, the US and local sponsorship experts, including Etihad Airway’s Head of Sponsorship, Nick Cottage; and will examine areas such as Sponsorship in the Arabian Gulf and the Outlook of Global Sponsorship and Sports Marketing. The workshop will also include case studies of the F1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and Etihad's partnership with Manchester City FC.
Professor Cornwell, whose research focuses on marketing communications and consumer behavior, is looking forward to hosting the session at the 2nd Arabian Sponsorship Forum:
