Between 2006-2008, in the shortest period of time in history, Adrian reached the three extremes of the Earth, namely the North Pole, South Pole and summiting Mt Everest. Adrian became only the 15th person ever to achieve the feat. His accomplishment of reaching the "3 Poles" in 19 months 3 days is recognised in the 2009 edition of the Guinness World Records.
Adrian’s latest expedition - the Emirates NBD Greenland Quest - saw him leave the Atlantic coast of Greenland and trek / kite ski across Greenland to the Arctic coast. Most Greenland trips are East to West and take 20 days. Adrian’s was the equivalent of London to Cairo or 3,500 kms and took 67 days. Accompanied by colleagues Devon McDiarmuid and Derek Crowe, the trip is recognised as the longest unsupported Arctic Expedition in history. Adrian used the trip as a platform to promote the issues of Sustainability and “One Planet Living” i.e. in simple terms, the planet is currently using the resources of 3-7 planets depending on where the global region. Adrian is dedicated to health, nutrition and fitness. In October 2008, he won the "UAEs Fittest Man 2008" competition for the second time in his career, beating the UK National Champion.
